Welcome to Jackson Purchase Outfitters-the South’s Premier Destination for Whitetail Outfitting℠. We are located on the shores of Kentucky Lake near Murray in the Jackson Purchase Area of Kentucky. Kentucky long known as the Happy Hunting Ground by native Indians has now become one of the top trophy whitetail hunting states in America. We have owned and managed over 700 acres for the past 7 years for trophy whitetail deer. Another 2000 acres of land that adjoins us has been similarly managed. In 2010, we only used the hunting land for hunting programs including the Drop Zone on the Outdoor Channel and the Versus Channel Quest for the One. 2011 marks our inaugural year of guided hunts for hunters.
Jackson Purchase Outfitters Managing Partner is Dr. Bob Hughes, a lifelong hunter, and his outfitting team is lead by Chief Outfitter Michael Cunningham. Mike has taken 14 Pope and Young trophy deer off this land that he grew up on. The hunts that we offer are limited to a few hunters that are looking for an exceptional hunting experience in a very special place.
